This major is aimed at cultivating senior shipping talents who are proficient in international shipping business, international shipping management, be acquainted with international trade and international transportation practice, be fluent in English and be able to work overseas independently, and who, are in urgent need by enterprises, executive branches of government and research institutions in line with international shipping and comprehensive logistics.II. Education Requirements
The students of this major are supposed to acquire the basic principle of management, computer and laws first, and then go further into the courses like Shipping Management, Shipping Business and relevant laws, Multimodal Transport, Supply Chain Management. Students are to be equipped also with the laws of operation and developing trend in shipping industry, to receive basic training of enterprise management skills, and to participate in social and corporate practice.Upon graduation, students of this major are required

5. to have a good command of basic skills in listening, speaking, reading and writing; be qualified to engage in international shipping management and other activities in the relevant field;
6. to have a good command of knowledge about document retrieval and data collection so as to possess the basic abilities in scientific research and practical work;
