Approved by the Ministry of Education in 2006, SMU and HZ University of Applied Sciences jointly organized an international cooperation project, including two undergraduate majors: Electrical Engineering and Intelligent Control (Sino-Dutch) and Mechanical and Electronic Engineering (Sino-Dutch). The enrollment has been included into the national college admission plan in the fall. The two undergraduate majors were first enrolled in 2007 with the duration of 4 years. The project aims to cultivate innovative mechatronic engineering talents in line with international standards.
