On September 14th, Mr. Bjorn B. Christiansen, President of Danish Ports Association, and his delegation, a total of 6 people, visited SMU. Mr. Shi Xin, Vice President of SMU, met with the guests. Heads from the International Education College, College of Transport & Communications and International Office of SMU attended the meeting.
Mr. Shi Xin extended his warm welcome to Mr. Bjorn B. Christiansen and his delegation. He briefed the basic running condition of SMU and said that SMU is a multi-disciplinary university featuring shipping, logistics and ocean. He hoped this visit would promote the exchange and cooperation between SMU and Danish ports circles and academic circles.
Mr. Bjorn B. Christiansen thanked SMU for the warm reception, saying that the teaching facilities in SMU had left the group a deep impression. Through this visit, they got more specific understanding of SMU. Danish Ports Association hoped to cooperate with SMU in related fields in the future.
