On April 1, the Opening Ceremony of SMU Reading Festival 2015 was held in the hall of SMU library. The theme of this festival was “experience the charm of writing and feel the pleasure of reading”. The festival covered totally 13 activities such as competition of “Chinese good poetry”, cartoon image design, recitation contest, reading seminar, literary lectures, exhibition on “Chinese book culture－from history” and so forth.
