On the afternoon of March 11, the 105th Anniversary of International Women's Day was celebrated in the Auditorium of SMU. Prof. Jin Yongxing, Chairman of SMU University Council extended warmest greetings to all the female faculties and students on behalf of SMU. He said women faculties have contributed a lot to SMU’s great achievements in such fields as teaching, scientific research, discipline construction, faculty construction and Party construction. Without them, the university cannot steadfastly follow a connotative road of improving the quality of education as the core.
Female teachers and students also gave wonderful performances after the meeting such as dance, poetry recitation, shawls shows, guitar playing, yoga and aerobics, stirring up thunderous applauses from time to time.
