The Voice of Holland Jazz Band Held Concert at SMU

One of the most popular programs in China, Voice of China, is actually the counterpart of The Voice of Holland. Recently, the Voice of Holland Jazz Band touring in China held a concert at SMU. The packed auditorium witnessed teachers and students enjoying the marvelous performance played by 12 vocalists and instrumentalists.

The theme of the concert is “Love”. Artists from Holland gave excellent performance in different styles. Many classical songs well-known at home and abroad were played, such as My Heart Will Go on, Jasmine Flower, You and Me. In addition, they also sang Song and Smile, You and Me and The Coolest Chinese Folk Style with SMU Students’ Choir, which pushed the atmosphere to a climax. At last, a perfect cappella marked the end of the successful concert. 

Before the concert, the jazz band had communicated with the SMU students and visited the campus, appreciating the scenery very much.

Founded in 2002, The Voice of Holland Jazz Band is very popular in Holland. The Voice of Holland jazz band not only held youth chorus classes and chorus competition but also held charity performance. Its founder and conductor is Ms. Caroline Grasmeijer.
