On October 31, Board Directors of MAN Group including Mr. Ulrich Baretzky, Mr. Wilfred Von Rath and Mr. Frank Burnautzki, and other 7 guests visited SMU. Mr. Yang Wanfeng, Vice President of SMU, and heads from Merchant Marine College, International Office and Laboratory Management Division met with the guests.
Mr. Yang Wanfeng gave a welcome speech. He said since 2008 SMU has cooperated with MAN Group in such fields as students’ cultivation, program research and laboratory construction etc.. The cooperation between SMU and MAN group has yielded outstanding results. He hoped MAN Directors to continue to support the cooperation and expand the fields of cooperation.
Mr. Wilfred Von Rath said the cooperation was very important for MAN Group and hoped to deepen the collaboration.
The delegation also visited SMU’s Integrated Engine Laboratory.
