On June 19, Mr. Janusz Janiszewski, General Director of Chipolbrok (Chinese-Polish Joint Stock Shipping Company established in 1951 by China and Poland), visited SMU. Prof. Yu Shicheng, Chairman of SMU University Council and heads from relevant Colleges and Departments gave the guests a warm reception.
Prof. Yu Shicheng extended a warm welcome to Mr. Janusz Janiszewski and briefed on the recent developments of SMU and its cooperation with relevant institutes of Poland.
Mr. Janusz Janiszewski introduced the history and development of Chipolbrok, saying that SMU had achieved great development in recent years and won worldwide recognition in shipping industry in areas such as academic research and shipping talent cultivation. He expected the two sides to enhance exchanges and cooperation.
After discussion, accompanied by Prof. Yu Shicheng, Mr. Janusz Janiszewski visited the Marine Simulator Lab.
