Recently, Dr. Mary Hawkins, President of Bellevue University, paid a visit to SMU. Prof. Jin Yongxing, Vice President of SMU along with heads from Higher Technical College of SMU met with the guest.
Prof. Jin Yongxing reviewed the two-year cooperation between Bellevue University and SMU, introducing the recent development of international exchange and international students’ education of SMU. He expected the two sides to enhance cooperation in teacher and student exchanges and to expand mutual visits in the future.
Dr. Mary Hawkins briefed on the history and recent development of Bellevue University, expressing the preliminary intention of sending students to study at SMU. She expressed her wish that the two sides could conduct more cooperation in student exchange, summer school programs and so forth.

The Higher Technical College of SMU has been running with Bellevue University a program of upgrading from junior college student to university student and a teacher exchange program since 2012.
