On April 13, Prof. Yu Shicheng, Chairman of SMU University Council, and Mr. Wang Haiwei, Vice President of SMU, met with alumni from SMU North American Alumni Association, among whom there were President Xu Ming, Executive Director Ma Xuemei and Mr. Zheng Wei, the liaison of SMU Australian Alumni Association.
Chairman Yu briefed on the recent development of SMU, and thanked SMU overseas alumni for their care and support for SMU’s growth. The alumni presenting the meeting expressed their love to the alma mater, saying that they felt proud to see the continuous development of SMU and they would actively propose valuable advices and dedicate themselves to SMU’s progress in becoming a top maritime university in the world.
