On the morning of March 6, the Opening Ceremony of the 10th Master Program in International Transport and Logistics co-founded by SMU and World Maritime University (WMU) was smoothly held at SMU’s Dongming campus. Prof. Ma Shuo, Vice President of WMU, Prof. Jin Yongxing, Vice President of SMU and leaders from relative departments and colleges of SMU attended the ceremony.
Vice President Ma Shuo said that ITL Program was launched a decade ago; SMU and WMU have always carried out the spirit of “Forging Ahead and Sincere Cooperation” so as to cultivate many high-quality maritime talents.
Vice President Jin Yongxing expressed his expectation and requirement for the students, hoping everyone could acquire more professional knowledge and practical experience, flying dreams, being down-to-earth and guarding against arrogance and impetuosity.
The ITL Program with a decade’s exploration and innovation has by now nearly 300 graduates at home and abroad, winning widespread approval.
