On November 13, vice president of Taiwan National Kaohsiung Marine University, Mr. Rong-Hua Yeh, along with other 4 guests paid a visit to SMU. Prof. Jin Yongxing, vice president of SMU and relative leaders from different departments and colleges met with the guests.
Prof. Jin Yongxing delivered welcoming speech and briefed on the basic situation of SMU as well as the latest achievements in recent years. He expressed that SMU had kept friendship with Taiwan National Kaohsiung Marine University for many years; the two sides could expand cooperation by taking opportunity of this visit.
Mr. Rong-Hua Yeh introduced the general situation of Taiwan National Kaohsiung Marine University; he said he was quite impressed by the development of SMU, looking forward to further advance the partnership and communication.
The two sides negotiated over student exchange program and exchanged opinions on school-running modes, major setting-up.
During the visit, Mr. Rong-Hua Yeh also toured the Maritime Simulation Center and the COSTAMARE Engine Room Integrated Laboratory.
