After a two-day fierce competition, the 4th “AnJi Cup” National Contest on Logistics Design by University Students (NCOLD) was rounded off on April 28. The Conference gave commendation to the teams that won the first, second and third prize in the contest respectively. There was a total of 12 teams that won the first prize including AnHui University, “Changzheng Team” of Beijing Technology and Business University, “Bi’an Team” of Beijing Material University, “Zhijie Team” of Shanghai Maritime University, “First Team”of NanKai University and “Hengtong Team” of Chang’an University, etc. “Zhijie Team” of Shanghai Maritime University won the first prize. “Qiushizhixing Team”, also from SMU, won the second prize. Additionally, SMU won “Special Organization Award”.
There were totally 604 teams registering in this contest with 448 pieces of valid report data submitted. At last 399 teams that came from 223 universities were qualified for this contest after strict review. The participating universities were widely distributed in the 28 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities, especially in the area of Ningxia, Hainan, Xinjiang that hadn't participated previously had universities taking part in this time. Since launched in September 2012 and started from campus competition, there were more than 4,000 professional teachers, 38,000 students before and after participating in this contest. And a total of 60 teams entered the finals through the fierce competition and rigorous evaluation.
