On April 11, 2013, Mr. Lui Tuck Yew, Singapore Transport Minister declared at Singapore Shangri-La Hotel that Shanghai Maritime University (SMU), Shanghai Zhenhua Heavy Industry Co., Ltd. (ZPMC) and the National University of Singapore (NUS) won the grand prize of Singapore International Maritime Awards in the Next Generation Container Port Challenge and would share the $ 1,000,000 prize together.
