On the afternoon of March 19, Prof. Su Wenjin, President of Jimei University and three other guests paid a visit to SMU. Prof. Huang Youfang, President of SMU Prof. Xiao Baojia, Vice President of SMU, Prof. Yang Wanfeng, Vice President of SMU and leaders of relevant department gave the guests a warm reception.
Prof. Huang Youfang delivered a welcome speech. He and other leaders of SMU introduced to the guests the teaching development, scientific research and discipline constructions etc. of SMU. Prof. Su Wenjin, President of Jimei University gave an introduction to the history, mission, features, disciplines, teaching, scientific research and development planning of the Jimei University. Both sides have reached the consensus that they should share resources, promote cooperation and seek for a win-win result.
The two sides had an in-depth communication on sharing resources, building the training ship, running school-based enterprises and how to make full play of our universities’ strength in the specific field.
