Recently, the first 3-week summer school at Inha University, South Korea was finished successfully. 10 selected undergraduates of SMU participated this summer school. The Inha University summer program was supported by Korea government and undertaken by the Inha University. The summer learning program was rich in content, including language and professional study, experiencing the Korean culture, visiting local historic sites and renowned international business practices, etc., which attracted participants from 19 countries and 40 institutions of the university students to participate.
Through this study program, our students have enhanced the friendship with students from around the world. They also have the personal understandings of Korean culture and other cultures. This program has not only improved students' foreign language communication skills but also broaden their horizons.Inha University is founded in 1954 to fulfill the dearest wish of empowering and bring prosperity to the nation. Inha University is a comprehensive university famous for logistics subjects. The teaching and research level of logistics disciplines take the leading position in Korea.
Since 2009, the two universities had signed a cooperation memorandum. SMU had sent a number of exchange students to Inha University for one semester annually. The Inha University This is the first time that SMU has sent students to participate in Inha University’s summer learning programs.
