On July 22nd, the opening ceremony of WMU Shanghai Office was held at the Sheraton Hotel Shanghai. The Director of Shanghai International Shipping Institute,Prof. Yu Shicheng, President of SMU，as well as Prof. Jin Yongxing, Vice President of SMU attended the ceremony.
Prof. Yu Shicheng, extended his congratulation and expressed that SMU would support WMU in Shanghai, China, even Asia as always. He hoped that both sides could deepen their cooperation in research and education.
The Vice President of WMU who is in charge of WMU Shanghai Office believed that the long-term cooperation between the two sides had paved the way to the founding of WMU Shanghai Office.
