On April 27, Mr. Elizio Araujo Neto, the Executive Manager of Brazil Petrobras Transporte S.A.(Transpetro), together with his consultant Mr. Danny Aronson, gave hisvisit to SMU.
Prof. Jin Yongxing, Vice President of SMU, warmly received the guests. He said, China and Brazil, both as Bric countries, are strengthening the cooperation and communication with each other, and it will be great for SMU to discuss the possibility of further cooperation with Transpetro. Mr. Elizio Araujo Neto expressed his sincerely thanks to our warm reception and hoped to develop strong links with SMU.
Transpetro, a fully owned subsidiary of Petrobras, is the largest oil and gas transportation company of Brazil, even the South America. It has at least 50 oil tankers and LNG vessels so far, and 50 new vessels are under building.
