On April 16, the 3rd SMU campus open day was grandly held in SMU Lingang New Campus. In order to attract more motivated young man to dedicate to shipping industry and to distinguished educational conditions, beautiful campus view as well as colorful campus life, SMU organized various artistic and academic activities with the theme of “Focus on Shipping Industry, Motivated in SMU”. Prof. Yu Shicheng, President of SMU, and Prof. Kong Fancun, Vice President of SMU attended the activity.
English Corner inaugurated at the gate of the Student Service Centre. ”Maritime Day” was opened in Navigation Square. More than 100 distinctive activities had staged such as, dragon boat races, Chinese material art, guard of honor performance, dragon dance team performance, etc.
During the day, SMU admission consultation and admission policy promotion were conducted to meet the needs of candidate students and their parents.
