Co-organized by China Society of Logistics and China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing (CFLP), the 9th Annual Conference of Chinese Logistics was held in Nanjing a few days ago. At the conference, current and future challenges China faced and hot issues such as low carbon logistics, internet of things, cold chain and logistics of agricultural products and logistics network were discussed.
During the conference, SMU Vice President, Prof. Huang Youfang was re-appointed consecutively as Vice Chairman of China Society of Institute for another term of 5 years, and Prof. Chen Weijiong, Director of Logistics and Intelligence Institute remained as the Executive Director.
2010 Logistics Academic Awards, namely Outstanding Subject Award, Outstanding Paper Award and Outstanding Case Award were issued. Prof. Chen Weijiong was invited to make comments on some excellent logistics research achievements.
